We are seeking to recruit a number of enthusiastic people who are keen to join our existing team of Cover Supervisors who we deploy around West Yorkshire in secondary schools on a daily basis.

The suitable candidate would be someone who is interested in supporting the needs of young people and who would feel confident to supervise students learning in a classroom setting, by covering lessons and using resources set by the absent teacher.

If you are a caring person who is committed to ensuring that children achieve their potential, then you could be the right sort of person for this post.

Previous experience working with 11-18 year old within a school environment would be desirable, however small this experience is. It's more about your attitude , and desire to learn and succeed.

The nature of the work is that it can be demanding and unpredictable, in the sense that you might not know which school you are working at until the day of the booking. Owning your own transport will make this job infinitely easier as you can get around quicker and get to places at very short notice. The nature of this work won't suit everyone, so ensure your circumstances allow for it. However, what we can say, is that there is plenty of work available in multiple schools, and for those with flexibility and that are good at their job, bookings are consistent and plentiful.

You might be interested in becoming a teacher in future, and want to gain more experience. If this is you, this type of work would be perfect for you.
