We are currently seeking to appoint a Director of Learning- Science to join a new 11-18 Academy in Birmingham from September 2017.
The schools mission is to create an outstanding organisation that inspires learners with excellence in academic achievement, personal development and community service.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and outstanding science Teacher who is able to offer in addition to their teaching role; to work in partnership with the Principal, Senior Leadership Team, Local Governing Body, Trust, staff, pupils and parents in generating the ethos and values, which underpin the school by mutual care and respect extending into the local community.
You will:
Have a UK recognised teaching qualification, i.e. BSc QTS, BA QTS, CERT ED, PGCE, B.Ed, etc
Be able to deliver science to GCSE level
Be an 'outstanding' and highly committed teacher who is passionate about their subject and our learners
Be prepared to deliver after school intervention and enrichment programmes and contribute to wider school activities.
Salary: £20,000 - £40,000 per annum
