Would you like to take the first steps towards a career within Education?
Are you looking to apply for a PGCE but want to experience life in the classroom first?
Do you currently work as an LSA or TA but would like more variety and responsibility?
Celsian Education can help.
We have been helping schools recruit their staff on both a temporary and permanent basis since 1993 so we like to think we know a thing or two about helping people further their careers within Education.
As a result of this longstanding service we have noticed a huge increase in the demand for Cover Supervisors within Secondary Schools and we hope that you could help us provide schools with the talented, committed and passionate team members that they require.
There are many different routes to working as a Cover Supervisor, and every school is different, but what you will need to be considered are:
- Degree educated
- Have a strong desire to work within education
- Demonstrable experience of working with young people
- A confident and enthusiastic personality
If you think you tick all those boxes but aren't sure you could walk straight in to a class on the first day of term and effectively manage the behaviour of a class of new Year 9 students whilst keeping up with the lesson plans and learning objectives then that's where Celsian Education can be of unique help.
We offer a completely free training day to help prepare you for life as a Cover Supervisor. It's in-depth and really gives you all you need to have a strong start on this next stage of your career. We piloted this training throughout the 2016/217 academic year and just over 87% of attendees secured a full time role through us and several have gone on to bag a PGCE place for this coming September as a result of the experience they have gained.
The next training day that we have available is the 17th July 2017 in our Southampton office.
Just apply to this advert with the button below with your CV and our Secondary Consultant will be in touch with you to go over the role, the course and any other questions you may have.
