Key Stage 2 Teacher

Celsian Education have an opportunity available for a Key Stage 2 Teacher at an Oldham based Islamic faith primary school.

The school has a strong focus on creating a safe and happy learning environment for every child to thrive in, by developing their self-esteem and self-confidence and creating an atmosphere in which all children are valued regardless of gender, race, faith or ability. It is vital that you are able to maintain the positive learning environment the school has created and give every child the best possible primary education.

This school is currently rated "Good" by Ofsted, and has improved significantly after each inspection. The headteacher provides strong leadership that motivates staff and pupils to do their best, and staff show high levels of respect and courtesy to pupils and others.

Whilst they are an Islamic faith school, they focus on teaching British values, and also place emphasis on teaching about other faiths. The care and welfare of pupils is central to the schools work, and pupils are well behaved and have positive attitudes to learning.

To be considered for the role, you must:
Have a UK recognised teaching qualification
Demonstrate ability to build strong relationships with pupils, peers and parents
Be committed to the school ethos and pupils attainment

The position is full time and the pay rate will be between £90-160 per day.
