Support Worker

Support Workers required in Headingley, Leeds. Flexible staff required to cover sickness, holiday cover and busy periods.

The nursery have high standards for their children and require staff who are proactive and have experience working in a fast paced environment.

A level 3 in Childcare or NNEB is desirable but not essential. You must have previous experience with children from the ages of 0-5. For this role you must be comfortable with personal care. If you have not had previous experience full training will be provided.

Examples of duties are listed below:

  • Leading activities and helping with indoor and outdoor play.
  • Recording observations and planning.
  • Feeding/supporting children at meal and snack times and cleaning children and the dining room afterwards.
  • Changing nappies and assisting with toileting and hygiene requirements.
  • Ensuring the safeguarding of all children by being constantly aware of potential risks and hazards and promoting safe practices.
