Are you a BSL support staff qualified at level 2 or above? Are you looking for your next career step now?

Well I have some fantastic clients from south Birmingham up to Walsall who are looking for fully qualified support staff for the deaf or hearing impaired students. In your BSL teacher role will be responsible for a class/small group setting of 3-10 children between primary and secondary age groups. These children may have mild to profound hearing impairment. Within the classroom you will always be supported by additional teaching assistants as well as a classroom teacher.

Working with a team who's been established at the school ensures you will always have support when needed.

What we require?

  • BSL Level 2 or above
  • Previous experience with children with hearing impairments (Mild - Profound)
  • Experience working with Primary or Secondary students with complex learning disabilities
  • Enhanced DBS - registered for child workforce
