We are currently looking to appoint an ambitious and passionate Music Teacher to join one of our outstanding schools in Southampton. This is a magnificent Part-time opportunity for a teacher of Music to share their knowledge with highly driven 11-18 year old's and open their minds to the wonders of a Music. This rewarding and unmissable role will leave you with an all-round jubilant feeling.
Over this phenomenal school year you will be planning and preparing lessons for students and setting and marking work this will include marking live music, you will be responsible for the students progress and you must be aware of students capabilities and plan teaching to build on these. As well as that you will need to produce new teaching materials ensuring that it entertains and helps students progress leaving you feeling extremely satisfied when the correct progress is being made. You will need to make sure the students are confident with their knowledge ready for their end of year exams and provide the correct feedback and additional ways to help students who may be struggling and even discuss student's progress with parents and carers. You should also develop an effective professional relationships with colleagues and attend some training courses leaving you feeling constantly refreshed.
