We are currently seeking to appoint a science teacher to join a new 11-18 Academy in Birmingham from January 2018.The schools mission is to create an outstanding organisation that inspires learners with excellence in academic achievement, personal development and community service.We are seeking to appoint an experienced science Teacher who is able to offer strong professional development and support for teachers at any stage of their career, making this a great opportunity for newly qualified teachers or more experienced colleagues seeking to further their experience. The science department is dedicated to ensuring that all learners have the opportunity to learn, build on prior success, and achieve their potential. At GCSE, they teach AQA, which is supported by a dynamic and focused curriculum being practised from year 7 onwards. Their aim is to instil and develop creative thinking through engaging and challenging lessons. These lessons develop a sympathetic imagination through the use of explaining and evaluating views and opinions other than their own ensuring pupils become successful and tolerant members of society.
