An exceptional independent school based in Wolverhampton for 3 - 16 year old's is working in partnership with Celsian Education, seeking an experienced and qualified Geography teacher.
From September 2017, We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Geography on a part-time basis to develop this popular subject area. This post would suit an experienced practitioner looking to broaden their experience or a newly qualified teacher, who is committed to raising standards at all levels; delivering excellent lessons and enthusing pupils through their passion for the subject. The successful candidate will be able to teach Geography to pupils of all abilities across Key Stages 3 to 4, bring enthusiasm, meticulous standards and a commitment to achieving the highest levels of academic success. All staff within Senior School are actively involved in the pastoral life of school. The role will also offer the opportunity for further contribution to the varied and vibrant array of extra-curricular clubs and enrichment.

Requirements:
Geography Specialist
Must hold a UK recognised teaching qualification, i.e. BSc QTS, BA QTS, CERT ED, PGCE, B.Ed
Have QTS or QTLS and are registered with either IfL or The Education & Training Foundation.
Have experience of teaching Geography at key stage 3 and 4
Be an inspirational role model; committed to their own learning and that of others
Have a positive mind-set and a desire to develop the whole person
Be committed to improving the life-chances of young people
Have excellent subject knowledge and a passion for their subject that is infectious
