Celsian education are keen to appoint enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational Learning Support Assistants interested in working with children who have Special Educational Needs, including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. Positions are available on both a part-time and full-time basis. We offer a well-resourced and modern working environment, both within Primary and Secondary settings. Applicants should be confident, creative & have the ability to drive all students to reach their full potential. You must have relevant qualifications and/ or experience. Experience of Intensive Interaction, PECS, Makaton, PIVATS, Moving and Handling, Rebound Therapy and Team Teach Training would be an advantage. In addition, you will have experience of classroom support in a SEN environment, be motivated and have a positive attitude. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of S.E.A.L. and other learning strategies. Responsibilities will include one-to-one support, and in some instances include personal care for students, so applicants should display the flexibility to adapt to a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
