Looking for a position for January and have a passion for performing arts? Celsian Education are currently recruiting for a Creative and Performing Arts Tutor on behalf of one of our clients based in Stockport.

The clients mission is to create a learning environment that be inclusive for all their learners and promote a successful transition to adulthood, through developing independence, confidence and skills. Within the school they have a large multi-disciplinary team which consists of support staff (TAs etc.), teachers, physios and speech and language therapists.

We are looking for an enthusiastic tutor that will inspire, guide and support pupils with their education. Within the role you will be working with students aged between 16-25 with complex needs, disabilities and autism. Classes are small which will allow you to create personal plans for each learner to truly make a difference to their learning. Within the position you will be working alongside the above staff to ensure the needs of the pupils are addressed and learning is accessible to all.

Candidates that wish to apply for the position will need the following:· Qualifications- A relevant degree within the subject area- PGCE/PGDE in post compulsory education- Other relevant teaching qualification within the sector

· Experience- Developing a curriculum, and accreditation of learning.- Working with and teaching young people with SEN- Working with a range of partners and employers

· Skills- Able to adapt to change within the role and change in pupils character- Positive attitude and not afraid of trying new approaches- Excellent communication

· Own Transport and business insurance· Child & Adult DBS on the up date system
