Do you have excellent communication and listening skills and enjoy helping others, hold a Speech and Language qualification then Celsian Education want to talk to you' We are actively seeking to recruit a Speech and Language Therapist for one of our clients based in Stockport. This position is to start as soon as possible for the right candidate.Our client supports pupils aged from 0-25 years of age with a number of special educational needs and disabilities ranging from autism to physical.

The successful candidate will be able to show the following:- Excellent knowledge and experience within sector- Experienced working with pupils with special needs and disabilities- Worked in an educational setting or relevant setting

The responsibilities you will take on are:- Identifying the speech and communication difficulty and/or disorder.- Assess the cause and nature of the problem.- Devise and deliver a suitable programme, working on a 1:1 basis or within a group. that will improve the pupils progress as best you can.- Review and revise programme. - Advise carers/support staff on the programme set for the pupil.- Monitor and evaluate pupils progress

Candidates must have own transport as you may be required to work at other sites within Stockport and be able to adapt to changes as quick as possible.
