Celsian Education are actively seeking to recruit a Sports Tutor that has experience supporting pupils with SEND such as Autism and Complex Needs. This position is a temporary position but will turn permanent for the right candidate. Position is based in Stockport.

Our client supports pupils with SEND from 3-25 years old that have special educational needs & disabilities. The clients goal is to help any child, vulnerable adult and families that are looking to help. They are committed and provide an excellent service with positive outcomes for people they support by promoting the values, beliefs and cultures of the people they care for.

The successful candidate will be able to show a strong understanding of special educational needs especially the ones stated above and have previous experience leading sessions with special needs.

Within the role you will be responsible for the following duties:- Develop and deliver a progressive and innovative curriculum.- Deliver high quality learning and assessments to the pupils.- Work in cohesion with other staff members to ensure the needs of the pupils are met and able to participate in learning. - Design Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and set realistic targets for the pupils. - Safeguarding of pupils.- Prepare reports as well as progress records and other documents when required.

Personal Specification - Relevant Degree within the subject area.- PGCE/PGDE.

Experience- Developing a curriculum and accreditation of learning- Working with and teaching young people with learning difficulties and disabilities.- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary.

Knowledge- Knowledge and understanding of both non and accredited learning programmes.
