Celsian Education are seeking experienced KS1/KS2 Learning Support Assistants to work within a number of client primary schools in the Swadlincote area of Derbyshire.

Whether you are seeking day to day work as a supply Learning Support Assistant on a part or full time basis, or a longer term support post (of six weeks plus) we would like to hear from you.

Primary schools requiring additional support include a unique school in the DE11 post code, who strive to create an atmosphere of belonging, where all children and adults feel safe, valued and included. Whether as a day to day Learning Support worker or as a longer term member of staff, your contribution to schools like this is vital to the life of special learning environments, which opens the hearts and minds of everyone who has the pleasure to be involved with them.

Experience of supporting children with a range of abilities across KS1/KS2 is desirable, as well as experience of supporting children with special educational needs, such as:

*Autism

*Emotional behavioural difficulties

*Visual/hearing impairment

*Low level numeracy/literacy

*Dyslexia/Dyspraxia

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work as a Learning Support Assisant for schools in DE11 post codes, either on a day to day or longer term basis (as you prefer), with roles available which range from delivering one to one support to children with SEN, or providing whole class or small group support - as directed by the class teacher.
