Celsian Education are seeking to recruit a music teacher for a SEN school based in Manchester for the New Year. The client is looking for a music teacher that has experience or a passion to work with pupils with special needs such as Autism, Complex Needs and some with challenging behaviour aged 16-25 years old. This position will be an ongoing temporary position will the chance to become permanent for the right candidate.
NQT's would be considered for this position.
The school as mentioned above supports pupils with a range of special needs aged from 16 to 25. Their aim is to help students build confidence, become independent and improve life skills whilst learning in a caring and safe environment. Regardless of staff members positions they all work all have the same passion and dedication to help support and improve the students learning that attend and looking for another member to be part of the team.
Candidates that wish to apply for this position will need the following experience:- Knowledge and understanding of Sen such as Autism and Complex Needs- Previous experience teaching pupils with SEN- Experience teaching in a school setting (preferably in a special school)
Candidates should have the following qualifications/documents:- QTS Status- Degree in relevant subject- Team Teach (Desirable)- DBS on Update Service (Preferably Child & Adult)
