Celsian Education has been asked to recruit someone to join a friendly and committed team as a full time class teacher for a Learning Support Unit for a role that will match the needs of our partner school. The school shares a campus with a community centre, local library, childrens' centre and neighbourhood nursery and high school.The class will consist of a small number of pupils with BESD needs, to assist you with the role you will have a teaching assistant to support with learning and teaching in the class. You will be committed to raising standards and ensure children meet their full potential. Celsian Education expect that you should have excellent behaviour management strategies and be able to support learning and children with BESD. You will provide children with exciting learning opportunities and will have excellent curriculum knowledge in the implementation and delivery of a creative curriculum and a good understanding of attachment and nurture principles.It is imperative that you have the passion for making a difference to the education and lives of the young people within the school and in building positive and supportive relationships. You should be a highly resilient team player, motivated by the challenge and have the ability to think creatively.
