Celsian Education are working in partnership with a North Birmingham based school who are seeking a full time academic coach in science to work both one to one and with small groups of students at key stage 3 and 4 to start immediately.This 11 - 18 oversubscribed secondary school are proud to have been awarded Outstanding by Ofsted in their last 2 inspections in all categories. The school has well established procedures for supporting new staff and we would welcome applicants who are suitably qualified and experienced.Academic coaches are required to work closely with an individual student or group of students to examine academic concerns and perceive barriers to success. You will have knowledge of assessing a students learning style and be able to put learning strategies in place. With this in mind, previous experience of working within an academic coaching, tutoring or cover supervision role is essential.
