An intervention teacher is required by Celsian Education to work in a primary school in Oldham. This school are looking for an intervention teacher to start straight after February half term on a part time basis right up until SATS. It will involve working with small groups of middle ability year 6 children in Maths and English in the run up to the SATS examinations with the aim of helping them to reach the next attainment level. You will also be required to cover the Year 6 class on Fridays. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of raising attainment in KS2 SATS and will ideally have experience either teaching year 6 classes or running SATS booster classes. The school is based in Oldham and is accessible via local bus routes. They are looking for someone to start ASAP after February half term and that can commit to the school from now until next years SATS examinations.
