Celsian Education are currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within a primary school within the OL9 area of Oldham. The contract is a 0.8- starting in April, and is likely to continue until December.The school is friendly and creative, and is wanting a Teaching Assistant with previous experience of working within a class that has gone through their Key Stage 2 SATs as they are expecting all of their Year 6 class to be high achievers during their SATs this year. The role will be working alongside the Year 6 teacher, so being supportive and motivational to both your colleagues and the children is essential. The schools aims to develop a positive attitude to learning, that also encourages self-reliance, and independence, so the successful candidate must be able to show that they can develop these skills with the children on a day to day basis.To be considered for this role it is essential that you have a level 3 qualification and have recent experience of working in upper KS2.
