Celsian Education are working in partnership with a large Secondary School in the Rotherham area to recruit an organised Science Technician to work on a full time long term assignment on an ongoing basis, starting 19th February.

You will be required to prepare materials and apparatus and make up chemical solutions accurately as required for demonstrations, practical work by students and controlled assessments as well as assemble and dismantling equipment for demonstrations or for use by students as required, including keeping work areas clean and tidy (including cupboards, benches and sinks). Maintenance of supplies and equipment is essential, stock take and replacing as and when required, ensuring all chemicals, materials and apparatus are stored safely and securely - including hazardous chemicals.

Essentials

- Experience as a Science Technician

- Up to date Health and Safety Training

- Able to provide working references covering the past two years

- The ability to be flexible and available for work at short notice
