Behaviour Support/ Coach- EBD SEMHExperience in sport or coaching? Sport Science Degree? Have you previous experience or interested in working with challenging behaviours? Do you have a passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs and challenging behaviours? Then we want to hear from you' We are looking for a people with a sport based background and wanting to pursue a career of working with young people with challenging behaviours. You could be the reason why a young person decides to engage with and participate in learning again, and be the person that made such a difference This will be a rewarding and challenging experience but you will be rewarded with seeing the successes of the young people you work with. The job it's self require a strong teaching assistant to support pupils in small groups and/or 1:1 support both in a classroom setting and off site supporting different learning based activities. This is a rewarding position, yet challenging. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of children with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) either professionally or in the home environment. The desired candidate will have extensive experience of working with children and young people in or out of education. If you have experience of working with children and young people with additional needs or behavioural issues then this will strengthen your application for the roles. These roles may require you to go out on different activities with the children to engage them with different curriculum based learning set out for their individual needs. This requires the candidates to be able to drive with access to their own vehicle. We can offer (£60/£70) a day, up to 5 days a week.
