Celsian Education are recruiting. We are looking for Cover Supervisors in the Chelmsley Wood area of North Solihull to work exclusively with a large secondary school in the area.
What is a Cover supervisor? A Cover Supervisor takes on the role of cover teacher whilst usual teachers are sick or absent. This includes managing class behaviour according to school policy, ensuring the cover work is completed and learning objectives are achieved. This is fantastic opportunity to gain experience in schools to help gain entry onto PGCE courses or to see if teaching is the career for you.
The school is a large mixed secondary school with a high percentage of pupils who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school are supportive and are keen to support the next starts of education. You will get on well at this school if you are bright and bubbly but have a no nonsense approach.
