Celsian Education are recruiting for a secondary school in Solihull who are looking for Learning Support Assistants to join their team. The school requires specialists in SEN with experience in dealing with Autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour, possessing proven behaviour management skills to work with pupils in KS3 and KS4. The position is full time, term time only and within a mainstream Secondary School in Solihull The post is mainly one to one based, supporting a pupil 1:1 with Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia within a classroom setting. There may be occasions where you will also support small groups. Applicants possessing specific training with these specialist needs are highly desirable.Applicants must have the following qualifications, experience and attributes; A passion for working with children and advocate of inclusive education Experience of working with additional learning needs with a specialism or experience with Autism, ADHD and dyslexia, either one to one or in small groups A high standard of communication skills with children and adults Knowledge and Commitment to child Safeguarding Celsian Education additionally offer FREE CPD training for all our candidates to support you in your role at school.
