Head of NurserySALARY & BENEFITS: Attractive salary, Employer Pension ContributionWORKING HOURS: Full TimeTHE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioner to work as the Head of Nursery to ensure the Nursery has a reputation for high quality nursery provision and excellent levels of pastoral care.The Head of Nursery will also work with the the Marketing and PR Officer to ensure the recruitment of children and will be required to ensure that the nursery is a profitable business; providing a stimulating and happy environment for all children.THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will be qualified with NNEB, BTEC, HNC, NVQ 3 or equivalent childcare qualifications are essential. In addition, candidates will need to demonstrate:· Broad relevant childcare experience in a nursery environment· Experience in assisting/supervisory role (min 1 year)· Managerial experience in the private day nursery sector· Comprehensive knowledge of the work practices, processes and procedures relevant to the role specifically in relation to the childcare, National Curriculum, EYFS and legislative requirements· Experience of working independently and confidently· Comprehensive knowledge of operating systems that are required to provide reportable data, advice and guidance across the nursery setting· Comprehensive knowledge of childcare legislative polices and their implementation· Experience of staff training and development· Effective time management skillsCONTACT: Nathan Fry at the Celsian Leeds office. 01132440140
