Celsian Education are working closely with a demanding yet supportive primary school in Derby city, who are seeking a KS2 teaching assistant to work with small intervention groups- from April 2018.
Due to the nature of the intervention work, experience with developing English and Maths would be advantageous. Additional skills, such as proven phonics expertise or EAL support would be extremely favourable.
This small school in the heart of Derby, boasts a diverse mix of children who are keen to learn. As such, the head teacher is keen to appoint a qualified and experienced KS2 teaching assistant who can offer the KS2 team consistently good or outstanding teaching and learning opportunities, and support their children to be the best they can be. This position would be suitable for anyone who has a range of experience working in developing children's understanding rapidly and effectively.
