Celsian Education are currently looking for experienced teaching assistants who hold the British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 qualification to work within a SEN environment in Leeds. You must have some relevant experience working with children who have hearing impairments.

You will be expected to support and help to develop the learning of students who have sensory impairments across all ages, in both one to one and classroom environments.

As a specialist signer, effective candidates will need the following abilities and qualifications:

Experience working in a special needs school or with students special needs Certification in British sign language (BSL) level 2 - minimum Outstanding communication skills Successful candidates will benefit from: Excellent daily rates Support throughout from an experienced SEN consultant Flexible and local work CPD that is relevant to working within a special needs setting.

This role is subject to a full enhanced DBS check and 2 up to date references.
