We are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors and Tutors for multiple Schools for day to day , and longer term roles. With this type of role, it is a great way to gain experience working with children and young people, as well as a foot in the door to a career in the education sector.

If you are considering starting a PGCE or wish to access a course of teacher training whilst working then this would be an valuable experience to improve your chances of being selected.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working and flexible cover supervisors to cover lessons across the School. The position would suit a candidate with relevant experience or a graduate considering a career in teaching.You will supervise classes across Key Stage 3 and 4, during the short-term absence of the assigned teacher, taking the register and delivering set work, ensuring pupil understanding of the tasks which have been set. You will also need to manage students behaviour in line with the schools behaviour policy, ensuring that students are on task and manage any immediate problems according to school procedures.

We are looking for a candidate with:Previous experience of working with young people in a teaching and learning environmentExperience of managing behavior and leading groupsExcellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate at all levelsGood IT skillsThe ability to act on your own initiative.As a Cover Supervisor you must be passionate about providing first class education and demonstrate a positive attitude, you will enjoy working with children and working in partnership with their parents and the rest of the nursery team. For this role you must have:· Experience of working with young people· Must have confidence to deliver sessions to whole classes
