Celsian Education are currently seeking a Qualified Youth Worker to work within a large Secondary School in the Sheffield area.

Based in a mainstream secondary school the successful candidate will be working with range from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4 pupils with a range of different emotional, mental health and social needs, and also pupils that display signs of challenging behaviour. The schools aim is to look after each pupil's individual needs to the best of their ability- and helping to support these pupils with going back into mainstream schools.

The successful candidate should have:

- A youth worker qualification

- Experience of working with pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour

- To apply a variation of de-escalation methods

- Having own transportation would be beneficial
