Celsian Education are working with a Private Day Nursery in the South Birmingham and Bromsgrove. These are independent nurseries where they look after babies from 6 weeks old to pre-school age children.Their aim is to help children build a foundation for life by developing confidence, good social skills and an inquisitive and enquiring mind. They will support your child to foster their innate creativity and ingenuity and encourage them to interact with their peers and grow in self-assurance so that by the time they attend school, they are independent and confident individuals.We are looking for flexible but reliable people to support this nursery during their busy time's They are open from Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 6:30pm, therefore your hours of work will vary between these times depending on your availability.Previous experience within a Nursery setting is essential as you would be responsible for the following duties;Planning and supervision for activities such as arts and crafts, music and cooking.Assisting children to develop numeracy skills through activities such as counting games.Read stories and provide activities to develop the childrens language skillsTake children on outingsFeed and change babiesObserve children and make notes for reports purposesWork to early years foundation stage standards on child learningEnsure children are safe and well at all times (safeguarding)Report any concerns to your manager, such as signs of abuseYou must be eligible to work in the UKYou must be familiar with the EYFS framework and be able to demonstrate your knowledge around safeguarding and your understanding of Ofsted. All successful candidates will be qualified to a Level 3 Childcare or equivalent.
