Celsian Education is working with a large secondary school in Sheffield to recruit a Maths Teacher to cover a maternity leave to start immediately.
If you have the ability to calm students who are facing a stressful few months and give them the skills they need to achieve grades above what they ever thought possible, this is a great opportunity for you. Working with KS3 and KS4 pupils coming to the end of the academic year, you will be required to help them focus to ensure they are ready to start the new academic year proving boosters when required.

You will have the ability to deliver consistently good and outstanding teaching and understand how to nurture good behaviour for learning. Excellent communication skills are essential as well as the ability to build relationships with both children and the staff around them.
The ideal candidate should:
- QTS - B.Ed., PGCE, Cert.Ed.
- Have previous experience as a Maths Teacher, NQTs warmly welcomed!
- Proven behaviour management skills
- The ability to quickly engage with pupils
- Must hold a UK recognised teaching qualification, i.e. BSc QTS, BA QTS, CERT ED, PGCE, B.Ed
- Are enthusiastic, professional, reliable and flexible
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Have a strong desire to help others
