Are you a qualified level 3 Teaching Assistant who is currently seeking day to day or bank work? Then we have a number of exciting opportunities in the Oldham area with primary schools who have regular Teaching Assistant roles. Your responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant · You will be expected to deliver tailored teaching activates to pupils on either one-to-one basis, or in small groups· To ensure that the pupils that you are supporting are able to engage in their learning and stay on task during the lesson or activity· To support the social and emotional development of the pupils within the class or group that you are supporting· To manage challenging behaviour that you may encounter· Guide and monitor pupil behaviour· Starting salaries for teaching assistants are between £55 and £60 per day. The rate will vary depending on the role that you undertake, as well as the responsibilities expected of you and the educational setting in which you will be working. Including how many days per week you will work. Your rate of pay may be higher if you work through an educational recruitment agency, with.
