Being a Cover Supervisor means that, during Teacher absences, you will supervise students (aged 11-16) and, following a pre-set lesson plan, teach them material in your specialised area.Geography, History, Religious Studies and Sociology are very important subjects within the Secondary School curriculum, so Humanities Cover Supervisors are in high demand. Because of this need, Celsian is focusing on finding graduates, with an in-depth subject knowledge, who can help to educate and motivate KS3 and 4 students.As a graduate in Maths, Science and English, this role could offer you experience teaching and managing classrooms, as well as working with small groups of learners. Those who require additional support and also the high achievers to help them further in the subject.
