Our client, a successful secondary school in the Leicestershire area, are currently seeking an English teacher to join their ambitious and highly welcoming English department on a long term contract covering maternity. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school where students are passionate about their education, where staff feel valued, and parents and senior leaders work in close partnership to achieve the very best outcomes for all students.The ideal candidate will hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS), with a specialism in English, and must have a strong track record of delivering creative and engaging lessons that inspire students to challenge themselves and strive for success. Although students are well behaved and respectful, you should also have a strong classroom presence and be able to effectively manage behaviour and build good relationships with your students.In recent years, the school has implemented a number of exciting initiatives, as well as going through a period of significant change from expanding their age range, so this is a fantastic time to be joining the team.
