Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA/LSA) - Leeds £60 - 70 per day / Immediate startDo you have experience working with children? We provide schools with qualified and experienced teachers and support staff. At present we are working in partnership with various SEN settings across Leeds where we can offer either full or part time work, this will begin on a day to day or long term basis with the potential to become a permanent role. You would be working in schools with ages ranging from 5-18 years old where all students have various special needs. The schools are extremely passionate about providing quality education, learning and development to all students, regardless of their unique needs. You must have previous experience working with children or adults with special needs or disabilities including but not limited to ADHD, ASD, Autism, Down syndrome. The ideal candidate would have a calming and positive demeanour, able to deal well with challenging behaviour and adverse ways of learning. Each child is unique and will require different methods of learning, the schools are looking for someone flexible and adaptable who will understand this and try their hardest to ensure that each child receives a high standard of learning catering to their own individual needs. Success is subject to an enhanced DBS check and two adequate references. You will be required to:· Work effectively in both a group setting and on a one to one basis· Have relevant UK curriculum knowledge · Take direction well from the class teacher and try your best to support all other staff.This position is paying a daily rate of around £60 -£70 and pay will be on a weekly basis.
