Design Technology Teacher with Food Tech experience essential. We are looking to appoint to the above post to start in April - maternity cover The School has Academy Status, 11 - 16. The students are happy, challenged and strive to achieve their best. The Academy provides rich learning experiences both in and outside of the classroom resulting in a great education.We are currently recruiting for an exceptional Design & Technology teacher who also specialises in Food Tech / Nutrition. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching their subject and be able to effectively develop their pedagogy and practice. This is a great opportunity for YOU to enhance your teaching career within the classroom.The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, lively and versatile teacher whilst also contributing to the continued development of the department.The post would suit experienced teachers or NQTs, for whom an effective induction scheme is in place.Leicester is a cathedral city with a thriving university, attractive city areas and is surrounded by beautiful villages.
