Celsian Education Are looking to recruit for a part time year 1 teaching assistant that is required from September 2018 until approx February half term 2019. The role will be 3 days per week in a primary school in Oldham.The school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their popular school.To be considered for this role you will be required to:have recently worked with children in KS1work closely with the class teacher to maintain high standardsbe able to provide evidence of how individual targets are met to ensure progressliaise with teaching staff to plan and deliver classroom supportassist in developing each child's self-esteem and personal and social skillsdeliver interventions as appropriate to support the needs of the children in the cohort.have at least a GCSE or equivalent in Maths and Englishideally have extensive knowledge and experience of how to teach phonics in year onehave a clear understanding of the expectations of children in year onebe flexible and can use their own initiativebe able to work independently and as part of a teambe self motivating, and hard workingbe able to adapt the way you deliver work to suit the needs of individual learnersAs part of this role you will be required to work lunchtime sessions on an ad-hoc basis alongside the other Teaching Assistants in school.
