Celsian Education Leicester are currently working with a fantastic, Ofsted rated 'Good', secondary school based in Leicester City. We are looking for a strong and knowledgeable teacher on a temporary basis to assist Year 7 students who will be transitioning into secondary education and need additional support. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an extremely positive impact and deliver engaging and highly informative intervention sessions.The ideal candidate will have a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS) and must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of raising attainment and providing support to Year 7 students who may have fallen behind in terms of where they are expected to be at this crucial point in their education.You should have a caring a patient nature, and must be able to effectively engage your students and ensure that they fully grasp the material. An outstanding knowledge of the national curriculum is an absolute must, as is the ability to effectively analyse data and performance in order to effectively differentiate and tailor your lessons to focus on key areas of improvement.This would be an ideal role for a qualified teacher who is looking to focus solely on intervention work, or perhaps prefers working on a one-to-one basis with students instead of a whole-classroom environment.
