Position just in: A school based in Central Birmingham is seeking a long term/ permanent member of staff to join there already established team of support assistants and classroom teachers.

The role is working as a classroom teacher within a school that caters specifically for ASD. This of course includes; Autism, ADHD, Asperges etc.

You will be working alongside secondary aged students who have a range of moderate learning disabilities as well. You would be required to have a very good initiative .i.e using various methods of teaching to fully engage your students. This maybe more practical and visual lessons for students who find it difficult engaging with block writing.

As a classroom teacher you are of course required to have a very good understanding of both the primary and secondary UK curriculum as the levels of students will vary.
