What we require from you:

-To be able to work 1:1 with students who have very challenging behaviour

-Supported the learning of Primary aged pupils

-Have experience working alongside complex learning difficulties - Understanding of Primary English, Maths and Science are vital.

-Experience working with students who fall under Special Needs.

-DBS check dated within the last year

-Have had training within the last year - Directly involving behaviour and Autism (Awareness)

As a practitioner at a special needs school, you need to be extremely vigilant but also have strong positive behaviour management, due to disruption within the classroom. All of students have been identified as having ASD. This means experience with Asperger's Syndrome and Autism at the least, are a must. If your passion does not lie with these students, please still get in touch. We have alternative opportunities that will arise, however experience within SEN is still very much needed.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a TA who is seeking a new career move into the Special Needs sector.

At Celsian Education we will offer any candidate registered with us, free CPD training to enhance or refresh on training previously completed or looking to do. We believe it's as important to train all our practitioner's as it is to find them work.

Safeguarding, quality and professionalism is at the heart of what we do. Applicants are required to attend a face to face interview, reference checks and an enhanced DBS disclosure.
