An Engaging Maths Teaching is required for a full-time long-term assignment starting in January 2019 until the end of the academic year.
Celsian Education is working with a popular secondary school in Rotherham to recruit a Maths Teacher to cover maternity leave.
You will join an experienced Maths Department, where you will plan and deliver Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, adapting planning where necessary. You will be supporting pupils in starting to focus towards exams and ensure they are prepared for mock and GCSE exams, providing intervention and boosters sessions.
You will have the ability to deliver consistently good and outstanding teaching and understand how to nurture good behaviour for learning. Excellent communication skills are essential as well as the ability to build relationships with both children and the staff around them.

The ideal candidate should:
- QTS - B.Ed., PGCE, Cert.Ed.
- Have previous experience as a Primary Teacher, NQTs warmly welcomed
- Proven behaviour management skills
- The ability to quickly engage with pupils
- Must hold a UK recognised teaching qualification, i.e. BSc QTS, BA QTS, CERT ED, PGCE, B.Ed
- Are enthusiastic, professional, reliable and flexible
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Have a strong desire to help others
