We currently have opportunities for nursery nurses and assistants to join welcoming nursery settings across Leeds and Harrogate areas on a temporary basis. We need people who can start as soon as possible, to work flexibly around your other commitments.
You must have previous experience working in an EYFS setting and have relevant curriculum knowledge. We are looking for people who are passionate about contributing to the learning and development of children and able to go the extra mile to capture the minds and imaginations of the children.
The successful candidate will need the following:
· Relevant childcare qualification - Level 2/3 NVQ/CACHE, Childcare Degree - or studying towards· Recent, relevant experience of working with children aged 0 -5· Knowledge of the EYFS and how to apply this in a setting· A genuine passion for working with children contributing to their overall development.
The role will include the following:· To observe and monitor children's progress and provide constructive feedback. · Working well independently as well as part of a team at all times. · To work creatively and have the ability to plan effective activities for children of all abilities.· You must be able to exhibit very good numeracy and literacy skills.
All successful candidates are subject to an enhanced DBS check (that is registered on the online update service) and relevant safeguarding training. You must be able to provide references support your previous experiences.
