Are you seeking any SEN Learning Support Assistant positions within Dudley? If so, Celsian Education are currently recruiting for just that!In light of new conversations with various schools across the area, they are looking to recruit new members of staff on a day to day and long term basis. You would be working with students who have complex needs and severe learning difficulties. This may include children with PMLD, SEMH, Autism and Physical Dissabilities. A committed an enthusiastic LSA would be perfect for the students, as too much disruption will cause an adverse affect on the learning and development. At the school you would be working in small group settings with no more than 10 students in most circumstances. You will also be supported by other LSAs as well as a class leader in you role. All candidates looking to apply would need to have:-Team Teach or MAPA training due to any challenging behaviour (Not a requirement)-An NVQ level 3 is also a minimum requirement to work within these schools. -Personal Care training to be completed 2017-2018-Manual Handling would be ideal, as you may have to help with hoisting and moving of children in wheelchairs.-Enhanced DBS check Unfortunately we can only accept candidates who have the following training and qualifications, due to legal requirements needing to be met at the school. If you or anyone you know may consider the role, please send them my way.
