SEMH LSAs l Behaviour Support l Leicester

Celsian Education is looking for SEMH LSAs and Behaviour Support Specialists to work in mainstream Primary Schools across Leicester and the surrounding areas. Due to increased numbers in challenging behaviour and pupil exclusions, on a national basis, schools now require more support to help pupils with challenging behaviour.

Are you interested in supporting SEMH pupils to raise attainment for young people? Are you passionate about making a difference to young people's lives?

As a Behavioural Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to work on one a one-to-one basis with pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). You will promote positive behaviour and ensure the child has access to learning, whilst also being involved in raising attainment for the pupil.

This position is specifically for someone who has experience working with pupils who have additional needs, which lead to challenging behaviour.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • SEMH experience
  • Strong behaviour management
  • A relevant SEN qualification
  • Early intervention experience
  • Past experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant
