SEN Specialist | LSA | TA | Learning Mentor | Behaviour Mentor | Leicestershire

Celsian Education is currently recruiting SEN Support Staff to work in specialised schools across Leicestershire.

We are in partnership with a growing number of SEN schools across Leicestershire, who require LSAs, TAs, and Learning & Behaviour Mentors for short and long-term support from January.

If you have past experience working in schools (or clubs), supporting children with Special Educational Needs, then you may have what it takes to work at one of our partnership schools.

As an SEN specialist, you will demonstrate a professional approach, be able to take initiative, and work effectively within a team of other specialised staff. You will also have experience working with SEN pupils with:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties
  • Social Emotional Mental Health
  • Communication Difficulties
  • Physical Disabilities
  • Sensory Impairment
  • Specific Learning Difficulties

If you understand the varied characteristic of different Special Educational Needs, and are equipped to support pupils with them, we'd love to speak to you about the great opportunities we currently have available.

To work as one of our SEN Specialists, you will:

  • Have a relevant and recognised qualification
  • Have 1:1 or group experience with SEN pupils from EYFS-KS4
  • Be Team-Teach certified (preferred)
  • Have a patient and caring manner
