Long-term, full-time position

Paid experience £325 - £450 per week

Working within secondary schools in and around Sandwell area

Graduate Learning Mentor Specifications:

Recent graduate within either English, mathematics, science, humanities, technologies, social sciences, MFL, performing arts, business & economics

2.1 or 1st degree classification

Strong academic background

Excellent subject knowledge

Confident, professional, reliable and flexible

A strong desire to inspire and support young people

Previous experience of working with similar age groups would be beneficial but not essential

The role:

In this Graduate Learning Mentor role you will assist with planning and delivering interventions for under-performing students. You will also create resources that suit the individual student needs. You will monitor, assess and analyse data in order to develop targeted intervention sessions.

The students you work with will be of varying abilities and needs. Some students will have an identified special educational need. Other students will speak English as an additional language. Therefore differentiation is vital to ensure positive results.
