A wonderful PMLD school in Mansfield is looking for a talented learning support assistant to join their team on a long term basis.
Our client is an all age's specialist school, specifically designed for students with PMLD. Majority of pupils are wheelchair users, are medically dependent and require support with personal care.
Pupils have access to fantastic facilities which include:
Hydrotherapy pool
Sensory rooms
Onsite physiotherapists
There are multiple TA roles available and many have excellent career progression pathways available, are starting immediately. All applicants must be willing to work 5 days a week and school hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm.
We are looking for a LSA who can embrace the working environment, have compassion, support with personal care and be flexible with age of students as things can change daily!

Applicants ideally will have:
Basic understanding of Makaton or BSL
SEN experience
Personal Care experience
Medical experience
Be aware of/ able to use assistive tools such as hoists
Have strong communication skills
Full interview preparation and assistance - so you're fully prepped and confident, increasing your chances of success
