Celsian are seeking Cover Supervisors in Leeds to work across several secondary schools on a day to day basis to cover lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher. These posts could potentially suit individuals who are thinking about going into teaching in the longer term.
We are looking for colleagues who can ensure the good behaviour of students whilst you are covering. You must be able to engage students in their learning during the short-term absence of their normal teacher. These positions particularly suit people who are outgoing and charismatic.
Formal teacher training is not a requirement for this post, but some experience (voluntary or paid) working with young people in a school or coaching capacity is would certainly help you.
