I am recruiting for a fantastic Special Needs school based in Shrewsbury.

The position itself is for a HLTA to join their already very vibrant and exciting team. Initially they are looking into arranging trials and interviews, however it's a brilliant time to get engaged and be a part of an inclusive team.

You will be required to work with a range of students, across year groups, so must be confident in working with these students and the national curriculums. The specific needs also vary within the school.

PMLD, MLD, Complex Learning needs and Autism are the main area's of focus for the school, so I would suggest being 100% confident in your ability before applying. Of course there will be aspects of Education that are always involved in the role, so 2 years of experience within a school setting is a must.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with severe learning and behavioural difficulties.
  • Enhanced DBS check for children and/or adults dated in the last year
  • Nvq Level 3 as a minimum, however degree would be ideal.

If you feel like you would be able to add value to the school, but also go in a hit the ground running, then I urge you to get in contact with me today on: 0121 6334698
