LSA | SLD | LeicesterCelsian Education is currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants for students with SLA, for both Day-to-Day and Long-Term cover across Leicestershire and the surrounding areas.. *Do you have experience working with SEN pupils on a 1:1 basis? *Do you have an understanding of SEN pupils and how to support them? *Are you MAKATON or PECS trained and qualified? We will consider LSAs who have worked in a mainstream setting with relevant skills and experience. You will demonstrate a professional approach and be able to take the initiative and work effectively with permanent staff and have the aptitude to form good relationships and be able to communicate effectively with parents and other professionals. It is vital that you hold a valid, recognised qualification and/or have had at least 6 weeks recent experience of teaching within an SEN environment in the UK within the last 3 years.
