Are you a dynamic Art / DT Teacher looking for full-time long-term work starting after Easter?

Celsian Education is working in partnership with a forward thinking secondary school in Sheffield to recruit an adaptable Art and DT Teacher to join their teaching team until the end of the academic year.

This role is split to enable you to have half the week teaching Art and the rest as a DT Teacher (Wood/Plastic cad/cam) enabling you to fully focus on the role at hand.

In Art, you will teach students different styles, techniques and mediums encouraging students to find their own personal style and create their own masterpieces. You will display students work on various displays throughout the school, building confidence in pupils. You will ensure that equipment is kept clean and stock takes are regularly completed, ordering stationary when required.

In DT, you will deliver Wood and Plastic (cad/cam) with a big focus on health and safety rules and procedures.

Strong behaviour management skills are essential to keep the classes orderly and safe. Applications from NQTs and experienced Teachers are warmly welcomed.

We have long-term relationships with our schools and pride ourselves on our ability to introduce you to schools where you will become an integral part of their school team, even though you are working on supply.
